Webb Ross – happy to do the legwork
The recent opening of the new Webb Ross offices in Dargaville coincided with the town’s Centennial Celebrations. As part of the celebrations Webb Ross sponsored the inaugural ‘DARGAVILLE GUTBUSTER’ trolley race.

Teams of four raced in heats of four against each other and the clock in a grueling one kilometre race. The competition was fierce resulting in several accidents as contestants battled it out for the titles of Fastest Junior, Individual and Business Teams.

Keen to put their money where there mouth is, Webb Ross also entered a team. Clerk Gina Wadsworth and Senior Lawyer David Grindle took an early lead but were overtaken following a spectacular crash. Managing Partner Wayne McKean and Associate Rob Harte dug deep but despite a heroic run were not able to take the race.

They did however make it to the podium …even if it was just to present the trophies to the winners.
